Damascacudas

The pic above is the latest pic of the reworked shiny piece that appears on the right in the two pictures below. It's much sharper now than I had it originally.


These are two Barracudas made from the Ladder Damascus pattern. Each has been lightly etched for about the same amount of time, but the shinier version on the right has been buffed to a satin finish. The pic doesn't really show how much layer contrast the piece still exhibits.

I took down the shiny version yesterday, as I wasn't happy with the edge. I lightly reground, and reetched, and rebuffed it, and it's much sharper now. I'll put it up as soon as I can get some pics snapped.
