Thanks! Yeah, it's really expensive stuff; even moreso than the damascus stock. Talonite is a cobalt alloy, and is non-magnetic, and rustproof. It doesn't scratch or mar very easily either. I can't seem to get my hands on more of it at the moment, but am keeping my eye out for it and Stellite (another cobalt alloy). I had to use a carbide bit to drill the holes in the piece. I normally use a cobalt bit for titanium and steel, but it hardly makes a dent in the Talonite. Also, I didn't stamp any of these pieces, as I've heard that because of it's toughness, it'll ruin the stamp.

My apologies for the sparse updates lately. I've been using the time to catch up on some past orders, and the balance of the time I've been turning out the pretty much the same tools. I did get a line on some Stellite finally, and hope to order some barstock this week. It's very expensive, and I've had to put back some $ to be able to afford it. I'll also be ordering some carbide bits, as that's what is needed to drill into it.
